We always solicit motivated students to join our investigations. Students at the B.S. or M.Sc. level with background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics are encouraged to apply. The accepted candidates will work on exciting emerging research problems at the intersection of immersive communication, multi-view sensing and signal representation, graph-based signal processing, and virtual/augmented reality. Our investigations target diverse applications including UAV IoT remote sensing, visual crowd sourcing, 360-degree navigable 3D video streaming, and multi-view imaging for cyber-physical devices and systems. Good mathematical background and knowledge of programming languages and software tools (e.g., Matlab, NS-2/3) is required. Above all, the applicants must be self-motivated to learn quickly and work effectively on challenging research problems.
